Forever in our HEARTS

Auntie Masie Ramon
Wow, the popsicle lady, the soda lady, you had many titles.  You were one of the best aunts I have had.  You gave us rides to school, you gave me money if my Mom couldn't because you knew I needed it, our Christmas was held in your home, I will always remember the silver tree with the revolving color lights, all the gifts that were under that tree because all the Silva's exchanged gifts, from adults to the littlest ones, there were hundreds. The beautiful smile you always had, the awesome colors of lipstick that you wore, (I tried to copy) the smell of the creams you used, I did your hair from the day I turned 10 I think (Margo your hairdresser didn't like that much) I remember these things, my Mom always said "she is one fine lady, your auntie Masie.'  Well, you are both together and at peace in glory with the Lord.  I am sure you are being rewarded for all the good that you did for everyone. I thank your daughters for sharing you.  One honor that was given me was that I was able to do your hair, one last time. Forever in my heart you will be,  your niece, Bonnie

Tia Masie,
I loved hanging out with Tia Maise, we always went to the Bingos! I owe much of my character to this lady, she instilled in us the value of character, loyalty, and honesty.
She would say that I protected the ladies when we went to the Bingo, little did she know it was I who was more scared, but she put me at ease and tell me "Mijo, Dios and tu nos protegerá"  I felt like this HUGE person, making sure the ladies would be safe!
I value this lady for always taking care of "la Edie" I think Mom and Tia Maise had this "special" bond, because Mom would talk highly of her all the time.
The Girls loved the lady who sold pickles, sodas, and popsicles! She made a killing from us, lol, but she was proud of the girls, you can tell, she would tell them stories about when we were growing up, the girls just listened so attentively, and would say "Wow" she also gave them some consejos about life. They miss Tia Maise as well.
She and Mom and the rest of our family members, and friends must be so happy in Heaven, can you just imagine that! Wow!
We made it a point to see her in December 2001, it was Tio Ramon's birthday, we sang Happy Birthday to him, and wished them well, we told them we loved them and would always have them in our thoughts and prayers, they enjoyed our late night visit.
Take care, Tia Maise. Con Amor Siempre,
"El Protector"
